We’re talking about the whole experience: the authors we were dying to meet, getting our books signed, the panels, the after-party, and all the chaos that came with spending a weekend surrounded by book people.

But obviously, we couldn’t just tell you how much fun we had and leave it there. 👀 We’re also getting into some of the things we noticed behind the scenes — especially when it came to author interactions, expectations around book sales, and our thoughts on some of the drama surrounding the event.

Basically: we came for the books, stayed for the vibes, and left with stories to tell. 😂

In this episode:

• Our Villains & Vixens experience
• Meeting authors & getting our books signed
• The panels and some of our favorite moments
• The after-party 👀
• Author interactions, book sales & our completely unsolicited opinions 😂

We’re BACK, and we have a whole lot of shit to catch up on. 😂 In this episode, we’re talking about the chaos that has been our lives lately, motherhood, moving states, book events, our ever-changing reading tastes, and somehow still finding time to read through all of it.

We briefly recap our first book convention, Villains & Vixens (because trust us, Episode 2 is getting the FULL story 👀), plus the absolute insanity of fitting 20 books into one tote bag at a book sale.

Of course, we couldn’t come back without talking about Sarah J. Maas, the fantasy world we continue to be completely obsessed with, and the characters who still have us in a chokehold.

But mostly? This episode is one giant “WHAT THE FUCK HAVE WE BEEN READING?!” catch-up.

We’re talking current reads, recent favorites, emotional reads that destroyed us, spicy books that had us 👀, and the authors we cannot stop talking about.

📖 Books We’re Talking About:

🔥 Fractured Fear — Ivy King
⚔️ The Incendiary — LJ Claren
⭕ The Circle — Maggie Sunseri
🥵 Devoured & Possessed — Ava Thorne
