First up, Netflix’s Beef is back for season 2 with a stacked cast including Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Cailee Spaeny, and Charles Melton — and honestly? It sounds messy in the best way possible.

Then I settle an ongoing group chat debate once and for all: which awards show actually carries more weight these days — the BAFTAs or the Oscars? That naturally spirals into some early Oscar predictions, possible surprise wins, and why the whole thing is still kind of a glorified popularity contest anyway.

These productions have expanded the Star Wars universe and continued the legacy of the Indiana Jones franchise under her leadership.

One of the big news points in the last week was the passing of legendary actor Gene Hackman, so naturally we wanted to pay tribute and recall some of our favorites of his vast career, but also took the opportunity to check out a fan favorite, Crimson Tide!

Speaking of tributes, we then move onto our feature discussion this week, the winners of the 97th Academy Awards!

We kick things off with the news that Matt Shakman, director of The Fantastic Four: First Steps, is officially heading to the Planet of the Apes franchise for a brand-new film, with writer Josh Friedman also returning. We talk about what this could mean for the future of the series and why the creative team has us excited.

Yes, for some reason we saw the new Lilo and Stitch film, we liked it, and we liked it so much we decided to review it whilst we played Fortnite!

Does this new fuzzy, blue alien stand up to the original?  Could this be the best Disney live-action remake so far?  It certainly wouldn’t be saying much if it was, but we go there anyway.

It’s a bit of fun, a bit of silliness, a lil ridiculous, but then again, so are all these live-action remakes!  Plus who doesn’t like to watch 3 grown men struggle in a video game?

Joined by special guest Erik Jue, who gives his thoughts on the show as a viewer as well as a member of the crew! (We have big deal guests now!)
