Across the series, listeners will hear firsthand stories about the realities of Black birth — the joy, the challenges, the advocacy, and the deep sense of village that surrounds it. Topics covered include midwifery and doula care, birth equity, fatherhood, motherhood, community health, and intergenerational caregiving.

Voices of the Womb is a project of The Desta Project, a community-centered initiative focused on maternal and family care from birth through the whole life of the village.
