Shachi Kale's journey began in Mumbai. Today, visitors to Arizona can find her work in libraries, parks, playgrounds, and public spaces. Most people spend their careers climbing the corporate ladder, looking forward to a quiet retirement filled with travel, golf, or time with family. Anirudha Joshi chose a very different path.

After spending nearly three decades in the telecommunications industry, the electrical engineer and technology executive traded conference rooms for mango orchards. Today, he is one of the partners behind a thriving mango farm in Florida that grows some of India's most beloved varieties—Alphonso (Hapus), Kesar, Mallika, Banganapalli and several others—bringing the authentic taste of Indian mangoes to thousands of families across the United States.

Ironically, Joshi's journey into mango farming did not begin with a childhood love for the fruit.

Growing up in Aurangabad (now Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar), he remembers that mangoes were never a major part of his life. His village, located near the borders of Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh, was known more for varieties like Benishan (Banganapalli) than for the famous Alphonso or Kesar mangoes
