For our very first episode of Mostly Correct, Probably, we’re jumping straight into the deep end. Fortunately, we brought a guy who knows how to fish.

We sit down with competitive kayak angler Ben Smith to talk about the surprisingly serious world of kayak bass fishing. Ben takes us inside the sport, from tournaments and strategy to the skill, preparation, and competitive mindset it takes to consistently find fish when money and bragging rights are on the line.

We also get into how Ben found his way into competitive fishing, what happens on tournament day, the highs and lows of chasing bass from a kayak, and plenty of stories from his time on the water.

And because this is Mostly Correct, Probably, you absolutely do not need to know anything about fishing to come along for the ride.
