We start with one of our favorites: surprising your kids with a Disney trip. From creative reveals to kids who absolutely do NOT want to know when they’re going, we share our own experiences with making that first moment of Disney magic happen.

Then we get into another Disney family obsession: the outfits. Matching family shirts, Etsy finds, Cricut projects, costumes, and why what you wear to the parks can become a surprisingly big part of the fun. We’re also dreaming up Halloween costumes for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party — including Minnie Mouse, Sorcerer Mickey, Alice in Wonderland, Star Wars, Ghostbusters, and one extremely ambitious Spaceship Earth idea.

And because no Disney trip goes exactly according to plan, we’re revisiting a Halloween party that got absolutely soaked. We talk rain, thunder, flooded walkways, parade strategy, what happens when Florida weather takes over your carefully planned night, and our experience with Guest Services afterward.
