Pushing instead of praying. Trying to produce in them what only the Holy Spirit can produce.

But things began to shift when we got out of the way.

When Jesus became not only our Savior, but our Lord, the question changed from:

“God, when are You going to change him?”

to:

“Jesus, what are You asking of me?”

We talk about spiritual leadership, being in different places spiritually than your spouse, control, pride, forgiveness, submission, trusting God with your husband’s walk, and what it actually means to live under the Lordship of Jesus.

This isn’t about pretending marriage isn’t hard or ignoring real hurt. It’s about learning that our peace, obedience, and relationship with Jesus cannot depend on where our spouse is spiritually.

Your husband belongs to Jesus more than he belongs to you.

And maybe freedom begins when we finally trust Jesus enough to let Him be Lord over our marriage, too. 🤍

Episode 5: When I Stopped Trying to Change My Husband | Surrendering Your Marriage to Jesus 🎙️

#FromBrokennessToFreedom #ChristianMarriage #LordshipOfJesus #MarriageAndFaith #SurrenderToGod
</itunes:summary><itunes:explicit>no</itunes:explicit><itunes:duration>01:16:13</itunes:duration><itunes:image href="https://hosting-media.riverside.com/media/podcasts/c1ce82ec-9eae-4a14-9fdf-1f5264fb5c53/logos/cd1f3594-3b6b-48d7-a4b6-0964e4c16854.png"/><itunes:episode>5</itunes:episode><itunes:title>Episode 5 :When I Stopped Trying to Change My Husband | Surrendering Your Marriage to Jesus</itunes:title><itunes:episodeType>full</itunes:episodeType>

Episode 4:God Was There Through Every Chapter | Angela’s Testimony

For years, Angela knew Scripture.
