The organization has run river experiences across the country, partnering with outfitters, major corporations and national nonprofits - including the National Governors Association's Disagree Better initiative -  to demonstrate that Americans can work together despite political differences.</p><p></p><p>The Reuniting America Podcast is the next evolution of RAFT's mission: taking the trust-building work off the river and into living rooms, communities , and workplaces across America.</p><p></p><p>The political and media landscape in 2026 makes this moment particularly urgent. Trust in institutions, media, and one another is at historic lows.
