Rishma sits down with her cousin Yashvi to hand you hers.

Yashvi applied to 22 schools, got into most of them (some with honors), and chose NYU for pre-med. This isn’t a stiff interview. It’s two cousins catching up about one of the most stressful, most exciting years of her life.

In this episode:

* How she knew medicine was for her, and the EMT training that came with it

* How she built a 22-school list, including BS/MD programs

* What the essay grind actually looks like

* How much grades mattered versus everything else

* How she chose NYU over Boston University, Case Western and Rutgers

* What she’d do differently if she started over

Whether you’re a freshman stressing about four years from now, a senior in the thick of it, or a parent trying to help, this one’s for you. If it helps, share it with a high schooler you know, and follow the show so you don’t miss the next episode.

Chris Aguiar: Learn, Pivot, Grow, Repeat | Ep. 6]]>Every major decision in life — where to study, whether to leave home, when to pivot your career — comes with almost no real playbook. In this episode, we sit down with Chris Aguiar, who left Mumbai for a US MBA, navigated the visa and immigration process from scratch, and built a career spanning product management, strategy, and marketing across companies like Samsung, Neato Robotics, and Meta Reality Labs.

This isn't a career profile. It's an honest conversation about decision making, learning through uncertainty, and what a growth mindset actually looks like when the stakes are real — for students thinking about studying abroad, kids figuring out their career direction, and anyone who has ever had to change course to get somewhere worth going.

Then things speed up for a Rapid Fire round — Rishma throws 14 well-known NFL names at Godfrey and makes him call each one "good" or "bad" for fantasy this season, no hesitating.
