Everybody talks about campaigns. Almost nobody talks about what happens after the win—the folks running digital for members of Congress, advocacy groups, nonprofits, and associations —the whole ecosystem that keeps governing moving.

I'm Wilsar Johnson. I began my career on Capitol Hill as a digital director in Congress, back when the role barely existed. I helped build it, and later co-founded the association for the people who came after me.
