<![CDATA[Inside the Helmet]]>Inside the Helmet is a long-form, ongoing conversation with oil painter Jamie Belton — the artist behind Helmzman, a growing universe of heroic, helmeted robot characters, and years of painted, message-laced "advertisements" that turn the everyday into something quietly funny, and quietly true.

Each episode goes past the finished painting to the process behind it: how an idea becomes a character, how a joke carries a message, and how a life spent between cultures and mediums ends up on canvas. Recorded remotely and released as an open-ended series, Inside the Helmet isn't built around a fixed episode count or formula — it's a running record of one artist thinking out loud, in his own time.
