I lied about my weight on my company's annual health survey — twice, same lie, two years running — and burned a stack of Insanity DVDs I never played once.

That's the resume I'm bringing you.

In this first episode of A Total Fit Show, I'm not selling you a tidy transformation story. I'm telling you the real one: four sports in high school, a decade of doing absolutely nothing about my health, multiple failed attempts at P90X, and a gut that made tying my shoes physically uncomfortable by 40. I made every mistake in the book — most of them more than once, just to confirm the data.

Then I hired a coach, and everything changed. Not because the workouts were magic, but because I finally had someone in my corner I refused to quit in front of. That one decision turned my health around, and it eventually saved the gym I'd already talked myself into opening — the one that, for its first year, was less "No Limits Fitness" and more "A Total Shit Show."

Twelve-plus years and two locations later, this podcast is where I hand you what I learned the hard way — strength training, conditioning, nutrition, recovery, and mindset — without the scars I collected getting there.

Some weeks it's just me breaking down what actually moves the needle versus what's noise. Some weeks I bring in the wellness professionals I trust for the stuff outside my lane.
